Traditional autumn agricultural fairs have begun in Bishkek. The press service of the City Hall reported.
Fairs will be held every weekend on Nurkamal Zhetikashkaeva Street (between Aitiev and Tokombaev streets).
«For the convenience of Bishkek residents, the fair is divided into sectors by type of product; now it will be easier to navigate when shopping,» the City Hall noted.
The municipality added that earlier the Oktyabrsky district administration conducted a comparative monitoring of prices for agricultural products and socially important food products, which showed that prices at the fair are 40-50 percent lower. This is due to the fact that the goods go directly to the buyer, bypassing intermediaries.
