The President of Kyrgyzstan arrived in New York for a working visit to participate in the events of the High-Level Week of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
Sadyr Japarov will take part in the dialogue between the leaders of the summit on the Sustainable Development Goals. On September 19, just like last year, he will make a speech on the first day of General Debates of the UN General Assembly. On the same day, the president is expected to attend the first summit of the heads of state of Central Asia and the leader of the United States of America, Joe Biden.
In addition, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Sadyr Japarov will meet with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, UN Development Programme Administrator Achim Steiner, heads of a number of foreign countries and international financial institutions. On September 21, Sadyr Japarov will speak at the Kyrgyz-American Business Forum with participation of representatives of a number of major U.S. companies, during which a presentation about the economic potential of Kyrgyzstan and investment opportunities of the country will be organized.
