Earlier, the Transport Prosecutor’s Office revealed a corruption scheme in the branch of Manas International Airport OJSC. A criminal case was initiated, within the framework of which Emil Ashimov was detained.
«It is known that money was transferred from the airport on an especially large scale. Manas shareholders lost their dividends. Emil Ashimov was placed in the temporary detention center of the Osh Department of Internal Affairs. The exact amount of damage is being specified,» the sources said.
