Zhyldyzbek Bekmurzaev, who was detained in Karakol, was placed in a pretrial detention center. Own sources in the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed 24.kg news agency.
During the investigation, the man will be charged with illegal crossing of the state border.
«If the investigation proves that Zhyldyzbek Bekmurzaev threatened the police with weapons in Osh, then his actions will be legally assessed,» the Interior Ministry said.
Zhyldyzbek Bekmurzaev was wanted by the Bishkek police department on suspicion of committing a number of crimes. In July 2017, he was detained in Kazakhstan. The offender was sentenced to six months for illegal crossing of the border. On December 21, 2017, he escaped from prison. In September 2018, it turned out that Zhyldyzbek Bekmurzaev was hiding in Osh city. During a special operation, the suspected of a serious crime resisted the police and escaped. He was detained in Karakol two weeks later.
