CIS countries intend to remove barriers to movement of goods and services

The countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States intend to remove barriers to the movement of goods and services. Russian President Vladimir Putin said today at a meeting of the Council of CIS Head of States.

According to him, the presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Moldova Igor Dodon participate in the summit for the first time. «The discussion will be aimed at improving trade and investment ties, eliminating existing barriers to the movement of goods and services. We have all opportunities to launch new large and mutually beneficial projects. During the summit, a number of important issues are to be approved in the humanitarian sphere. I am convinced that their implementation will contribute to the consolidation of good-neighborly relations between our countries and peoples,» Vladimir Putin said.

Recall, Prime Minister Sapar Isakov left for the summits of CIS and ЕEU in Sochi instead of the president of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev.
