Patrol vehicles in Kyrgyzstan have begun to be equipped with a new hardware and software system Orakul-Insight, capable of automatically detecting traffic violations while in motion.
The new equipment was presented by the head of the Main Traffic Safety Department, Azenbek Kozukeev. The system provides real-time photo and video recording of violations, including speeding, driving into oncoming traffic, illegal stopping and parking, mobile phone use while driving, and driving without a seat belt.
In addition, the system analyzes traffic flow and road conditions, allowing officers to quickly identify violators without the need for stationary cameras.
The main feature of the system is that violations can be recorded even while the patrol vehicle itself is moving, significantly expanding traffic monitoring capabilities on the roads.
The Main Traffic Safety Department said that all patrol vehicles are expected to be equipped with similar systems in the near future.
