Schoolchildren from Kyrgyzstan win 3 medals at European Mathematical Cup

Students from Kyrgyzstan won three bronze medals at the European Mathematical Cup, organized by the Croatian Association of Young Gifted Mathematicians.

According to the Ministry of Education, the competition is being held for the 14th year.

Winners:

• Nuraiym Mukhamatnabieva — bronze medal, 10th-grade student, Akylman Presidential Lyceum;
• Kamila Aliyarova — bronze medal, 10th-grade student, Gazprom Kyrgyzstan school.

Coaches: Mamat Ishmatov, Zholdubai uulu Bekzhol.

• Adilet Shakiraliev — bronze medal, Kupuev Academy.

Coach: Shumkarbek Abduraimov.

Kyrgyzstan has been participating in the Olympiad since 2022. Since then, the country has won three silver and five bronze medals.

The European Mathematical Cup is held in two categories: Junior and Senior. Participants must solve four tasks in algebra, geometry, combinatorics, and number theory in four hours.
