Denis Gaivoronsky, CEO of Kulikovsky confectionery house, commented on the searches in the company’s offices by the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) in an interview with the media.

According to him, this is a standard inspection by the Tax Service, and the State Committee employees were conducting additional control.

«We have not officially presented the information sent out on social media. On the one hand, you can be offended and angry at the media, on the other hand, this is their job. They like to embellish some topics, add some «spice». In fact, everything is fine. We have been working as usual. Yes, an inspection took place. But this is a standard inspection by the Tax Service. The SCNS employees also came with them. We assume that this is because we are a large, well-known company. In order for the tax inspection to be normal and objective, additional monitoring by the SCNS is being conducted. We are open to any inspections,» Denis Gaivoronsky said.

The entrepreneur emphasized that he supports open inspections for all large businesses, and Kulikovsky confectionery house is not associated with an organized crime group.

Recall, employees of Kulikovsky company reported to 24.kg news agency in early September that the State Committee for National Security conducted searches in the main office of the confectionery house in Bishkek.

Later it was reported that the Tax Service fined the company 20 million soms.
