The State Construction Agency has no plans to demolish high-rise buildings constructed on municipal land. The head of the agency Nurdan Oruntaev, said at a briefing.
He noted that, according to the Land Code, the property is an integral part of the plot.
«All high-rise buildings built after the 2000s in Bishkek were erected on municipal land plots. There are individual cases when a plot was provided in an inappropriate way, there are legal disputes, but in any case the State Construction Committee has no plans to demolish the objects and return the land. We need to take into account the opinion of people who live in these houses,» Nurdan Oruntaev said.
As an example, he cited the recently legalized houses of well-known construction companies in the country. He noted that the State Construction Committee takes such a step to protect the rights of citizens.
