Sellers from several markets have been holding a rally in Bishkek for the third day. Today they gathered in the park named after Maxim Gorky.

Participants of the protest demand the abolition of electronic invoices and electronic consignment notes and preservation of the license taxation system.

The head of the Tax Policy Department of the Ministry of Economy, Kubanychbek Ysybekov, spoke to the vendors of Dordoi Dyikan, Osh Bazaary, and Aziz markets.

«Please understand that the license system has already been abolished. Its return is out of question now. What is relevant today is how we can introduce electronic invoices and electronic consignment notes to make it convenient for you. Don’t take this the wrong way,» Kubanychbek Ysybekov said.

But the rally participants were not satisfied with the official’s speech.

Recall, all markets in the country had to switch from the license system to electronic consignment notes and electronic invoices from January 1, 2024. The sellers of the largest market in Kyrgyzstan, Dordoi, held a rally because of it. The president met with them and gave them time to prepare. Thus, Sadyr Japarov postponed the switch to electronic consignment notes till July 1, 2024.
