An earthquake occurred in China. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the Institute of Seismology, the earthquake was registered on May 20 at 11.10 a.m. The magnitude at the epicenter was 6 on the MSK-64 scale.
Tremors of up to magnitude 2.5 were felt in the villages of Taldy-Suu, Bash-Kaindy, Kazybek, Zhany-Koch of At-Bashy district of Naryn region. The earthquake focus was located 148 kilometers southeast of the city of Naryn.
According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or destruction in Kyrgyzstan.
