Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev met with the President of Silk Road Fund Cai Xuejun in Beijing (China). The press service of the ministry reported.
Daniyar Amangeldiev noted that an agreement between RSK Bank and Bank of China has already been concluded. According to it, RSK Bank will have the opportunity to conduct operations in Chinese yuan and open correspondent accounts in Chinese banks.
President of Silk Road Fund noted that the parties are holding talks and discussing the option of creation of a Kyrgyz-Chinese Development Fund.
In addition, Cai Xuejun suggested using the possibility of lending from the China Development Bank and the Export—Import Bank of China. He said that the fund has signed a Memorandum of Understanding and cooperation with representatives of Uzbekistan and proposed to use this model of cooperation in Kyrgyzstan. The Chinese side is ready to send the draft memorandum to Kyrgyzstan for comprehensive consideration and study.
