The first immersive audio performance «Connections» will be shown in Bishkek on the World Tourism Day. The Tourism Development Fund reported.
According to it, it will be a two-hour tour of the city, where the history of the capital will be told by the voices of professional actors. Immersive audio performance is a theatrical production, a quest and a journey.
The fund said that they have developed a new format of urban tours, where events happen with and around people, and the tourist moves around the city, listening only to the voices in headphones. The guide only controls the process. The tour will include a story about Bishkek, its history and architecture.
Immersive audio performances are organized all over the world, but in CIS countries they appeared recently, and in Kyrgyzstan — for the first time. A new format of excursions for Bishkek was created for about five months. In case of success, it is planned to launch them in other cities of the Kyrgyz Republic.
