Komuz player Bektemir Tolon uulu was interrogated as a witness in a criminal case. Lawyer Agzam Dushenaliev told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the musician was again summoned for interrogation today.
«The Internal Affairs Department of Pervomaisky district of Bishkek opened a criminal case under the article «Inciting ethnic, religious or interregional hatred (discord)» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Bektemir Tolon uulu wrote posts on social media that fall under this article. It is not possible to provide details, since he signed a non-disclosure agreement,» Agzam Dushenaliev said.
Human rights activist Aziza Abdirasulova reported about the detention of Bektemir Tolon uulu on Monday.
