Cameraman of the regional TV channel MIR24 Kalys Bakytbek uulu was placed under house arrest. Lawyer Zamir Zhooshev reported on social media.

According to him, this decision was made by the judge of Pervomaisky district Ilyas Kerimkulov.

The journalist of the regional TV channel MIR24 Sanrabiya Satybaldiyeva and cameraman Kalys Ashirbaev were detained by the investigation service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on November 4. They were charged with extortion.

The woman was placed in a temporary detention center, despite she is pregnant, has a threat of miscarriage, and a small child at home. Later, the journalist was released on her own recognizance not to leave the city.
