The Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan found no reason to close private medical colleges. The heads of educational institutions informed 24.kg news agency.

According to them, this is stated in a letter from the department to the Ministry of Health. It notes that closure of a legal entity is possible only on two grounds: will of the owner and decision of the court.

«Currently, the Ministry of Education and Science does not have decisions of the owners or the court on the liquidation of legal entities,» the letter says.

The ministry added that, according to the law on Licensing and Permitting Activities, the validity of licenses is terminated from the date the court decision on the annulment of the license comes into force.

«In this regard, the Ministry of Education and Science believes that there are no legal grounds for closure of private medical colleges,» the letter says.

The department added that the Ministry of Education and Science will amend the annual plan of inspections for compliance with licensing requirements by secondary professional medical educational organizations.

Earlier, the Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev signed an order to close private medical colleges due to the lack of conditions for internship of students. The head of the Department of Human Resources and Organizational Work of the Ministry of Health was instructed to notify the Ministry of Education for making an appropriate decision.
