First Digital Skills competition takes place in Bishkek

The first Digital Skills Competition 2021 will be held in Bishkek. The Ministry of Education reported.

An opening ceremony took place at the ministry on November 12. The competition itself will be held on November 13 — 14 in the main building of the Iskhak Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University.

The event will be attended by representatives of UNDP in Russia and Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Education and Science, heads and students of higher education institutions, masters of industrial training and digital competences teachers, as well as representatives of digital business and the business community.

Students and teachers of higher education institutions undergo intensive training by WorldSkills Russia in the following areas:

  • Graphic design;
  • Business software solutions;
  • Web technologies;
  • Network and system administration;
  • Development of mobile applications.

The next stage for them will be participation in the competition, where they must demonstrate their knowledge gained in the framework of the training program. As a result, participants will get a Skills Passport — an electronic document indicating the points gained and a certificate of participation.
