President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed a decree according to which Nurkamal Askanova was appointed the head of the Information Policy Department of the Presidential Executive Office.
She previously worked as a presenter for OTRK TV channel.
Her predecessor, Nurgazy Anarkulov, was detained on suspicion of extorting a bribe on an especially large scale.
