Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan officially terminated powers of the deputy of the Parliament Almambet Shykmamatov. The CEC reported.
The decision was reportedly made on the basis of his statement. Almambet Shykmamatov headed Ata Meken parliamentary faction after Omurbek Tekebayev was deprived of his deputy seat and prosecuted for corruption. He organized rallies and campaigns in support of the party leader. Disagreements between the associates arose after Omurbek Tekebayev was released from prison.
Obviously, the quarrel was caused by different opinions on the political situation in the country. Ata Meken will participate in the parliamentary elections 2020 and does not exclude an option of merging with other participants.
It became known that four more people withdrew from Ata Meken list — Bolot Sher, Talant Uzakbaev, Tashbolot Baltabaev and Rysbek Mirzamatov.
