It is planned to produce sport and shotgun cartridges and assemble Kamaz trucks in Kyrgyzstan. This was announced today at the Kyrgyz-Russian conference.
Deputy Director of the state-owned enterprise Bishkek Stamping Plant Almaz Akmataliev told that the company was planning to produce sport and shotgun cartridges.
«Our enterprise is a part of the defense complex, and this is the only plant in Central Asia with mass production of a wide range of special products. The plant cooperates favorably with Russian defense enterprises. Bishkek Stamping Plant buys components such as gunpowder and blasting caps, and manufactures and sells equipment. Another promising collaboration is the development of a new 5.56-mm sport and shotgun cartridge, which is in demand in Western countries. Now we are producing live ammunition,» said Almaz Akmataliev.
In addition, another major project in the field of engineering is at the implementation stage. The Chairman of the Board of Feldman Group, Evgeny Feldman, told reporters that with their assistance, the large Russian company Kamaz would integrate into the economy of Kyrgyzstan.
«We are preparing a service and dealer base, considering the option of participating in the transport infrastructure. Initially, delivery of finished products is planned, and, perhaps, later the large-node assembly will begin. The republic has the necessary capacity. We studied the mechanical engineering market of the Kyrgyz Republic and came to the conclusion that the primary market is underestimated,» he concluded.
