What Vladimir Putin plans during visit to Kyrgyzstan

During his visit to Bishkek, Vladimir Putin is planning to discuss with the Kyrgyz authorities integration processes within the Eurasian Economic Union. Spokesman for the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov told the day before.

According to Roscongress, Dmitry Peskov noted the main aspects of the upcoming Russian-Kyrgyz top level meetings.

«The main thing is the negotiations that we expect. This is a wide range of issues associated with bilateral relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, issues related to the integration processes of EEU, and international issues,» Spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation told.

Roscongress noted that the 8th Russian-Kyrgyz interregional conference «New Horizons for Strategic Partnership and Integration,» which will be held in Bishkek on March 27-28, was timed to the arrival of the Russian president.

The conference is organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan with the support of Roscongress Foundation. The conference participants will discuss implementation of integration potential within EEU, cooperation on the digital agenda, development of agro-industrial complex, taking into account transport and logistics potential, as well as the development of mechanisms for investment and financial cooperation between the two countries.
