"Kyrgyzstan's accession to the EEU was the right step," the former Prime Minister of the Republic Temir Sariev said today at a conference in Bishkek.
"We are being criticized a lot, that we shouldn't have done this, that problem for our goods at the border haven't disappeared, and so on. If we didn't join the Eurasian Union, the problems at the border wouldn't be less, but much more. Yes, while there are some obstacles, but we have a system, formal agreement to remove all these questions gradually. At the same time we entered the EEU with better conditions than its other members," ex-prime minister said.
"Joining the EEU - opens up new opportunities, and everything depends on us. The first positive results of this have already began to show. Our citizens have a preference on the labor market in Russia and exporters of dairy products and clothing began to gradually increase their exports," Temir Sariev added.
