CEC approves results of election of Bishkek’s mayor 

The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan has approved protocols on voting results and results of elections of the mayor of Bishkek. The decision was taken at today's meeting.

CEC members again raised the question whether the deputies of Bishkek city council should hold a session during the elections. The head of TEC Kairat Mamatov explained that the legislation allows holding the election of mayor of Bishkek without regular session.

CEC Chairperson Nurzhan Shayldabekova confirmed that the elections of the mayor of the capital were held without violations.
