No obstetric division in Kyrgyzstan meets standards

Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Talantbek Batyraliev today in Parliament admitted that none of obstetric units in Kyrgyzstan meets the standards and modern requirements.

The official promised that the infrastructure will be improved first in Bishkek, and then in the regions.

"Conditions should be created. It is a challenge not only for the Ministry of Health, but for the other agencies, as well as the local authorities," Batyraliev said.
