National Guard of Kyrgyzstan becomes structural unit of General Staff

The National Guard was derived from the state agency status and became a structural unit of the General Staff of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces. Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.

According to it, the President signed a decree "On further measures to reform the management system of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic". The National Guard has become a structural unit "in order to improve management of the Armed Forces and create a unified system of financial and logistical support."
