"The upcoming meeting of the SCO Heads of Government in Bishkek will contribute to the strengthening of friendship and cooperation, as well as will have a positive impact on the further development of the organization," the SCO Secretary General Rashid Alimov said today at a meeting with Acting Prime Minister Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
According to him, as one of the founders of the organization, Kyrgyzstan was at the forefront of its formation, and made a great contribution to the strengthening of its authority in the international arena.

"Kyrgyz side made a great work in the negotiations of the national focal points, which will undoubtedly have an impact on the content of meeting of the SCO Heads of Government," Rashid Alimov said.
It was noted that the national coordinators focused on the issues of scientific and technological achievements of the SCO countries, cooperation in education, trade, banking system.
The Secretary General Rashid Alimov said that the approval of the Concept of scientific and technical partnership of the SCO is being prepared. Document will be signed for the first time in the history of the organization that will give a new impetus to the development of countries partnership in the framework of the SCO.
Anniversary meeting of Heads of Government will be held at Bishkek on November 3. Within its framework, it is planned to sign about 10 documents, the press service of the Cabinet of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
As previously reported, all the SCO heads of governments have confirmed participation in the meeting.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization includes Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and China.
