Wrestler Janarbek Kenjeev wins Olympic license

Wrestler of Greco-Roman style Janarbek Kenzheev won the Olympic license today, the official site of the World Association of Wrestling reported.

According to it, the Asian license tournament takes place in Astana (Kazakhstan). Kenzheev competes in the weight category of 85 kg. In the quarterfinals he defeated Ravinder Khatri (India), then Taichi Oka (Japan) and reached the final. In the decisive battle he will face Fei Peng (China). However, Kenzheev has already got a ticket to the Olympics, since under the rules they are given to athletes who took at least second place at this tournament.

In addition, wrestlers Nadyrbek uulu Samat (57 kg) and Ilgiz Zhakypbekov (74 kg) are one pace away from the license. They won the start battles and entered the semifinals.
