Marathon runner Yulia Andreyeva takes 36th place at World Championships in Beijing
Marathon runner Yulia Andreyeva took the 36th place at the World Championships in Athletics in Beijing, the official website of the International Association of Athletics Federations reported.
According to it, the world championship was completed in the city of Beijing (China) on August 30. At the last day the only representative of the Kyrgyz Republic started out. At least 67 athletes competed for the victory at the distance of 42 km 195 m. Only 52 were able to finish. Time of the winner - the Ethiopian Mare Dibaba was 2 hours 27 minutes 35 seconds. Yulia Andreyeva finished in 2 hours 45 minutes 4 seconds.
Recall, Andreeva is the first athlete from the KR, which has won a license and received the right to participate at the Olympic Games-2016.
