Swimmer from Kyrgyzstan Darya Talanova became the 49th in the world championship, held in Kazan (Russia), the official site of the competition reported.
According to it, the competition in women's 100m breaststroke in the framework of the World Cup began on August 3. There were seven preliminary heats involving 70 athletes. Talanova finished in 1 minute, 13.68 seconds. This result wasn't enough to get into semifinal.
