Kyrgyzstani took 8th place in swimming competition in the 17th Asian Games in Incheon (South Korea), the press service of the State Agency of Physical Culture and Sports of the KR informed.
According to it, there were 6 sets of medals in swimming within the framework of the Asian Games. Kyrgyzstani Daria Talanova participated in 100m breaststroke. In qualifying swim, she finished third with a time of 1 minute 11.62 seconds. She entered the top eight finalists in the final swim and showed the result of 1 minute 12.28 seconds, becoming the 8th.
As noted, Talanova also will take part in heats on 50 and 200 m in the same discipline.
