Balykchy - Tamchy - Cholpon-Ata - Korumdu road will not be finished in time. The Minister of Transport and Communications Argynbek Malabaev announced today at a meeting of the parliamentary committee, answering the question of a leader of Ata Meken faction Omurbek Tekebayev.

 "It is about 61 km from Tamchy to Korumdu that it is not easy to repair for one season. Our ministry in the first place requires quality during road works, and it is because the company has already brought two stone crushing plants, asphalt plant, new road rollers. About 170 units of equipment are working there at the time," Argynbek Malabaev assured. He added that the Chinese company that won the tender, Long Hai, also attracted to work the equipment, hired from local companies.

In an interview to 24.kg news agency Argynbek Malabaev said that the reconstruction of the route was divided into two parts - the 43 km part of the road and 61 km section. "We do not even mention the first section, we are talking about these 61 kilometers from Tamchy to Korumdu where the asphalt will be laid not all, partially. After all, we started to repair the road from two sides, but some part in the middle will remain without asphalt, these works will be carried out the next year," the Minister explained.
