Russians to be able to stay in Kyrgyzstan for month without registration 

Russian citizens will be able to stay in Kyrgyzstan for a month without registration from January 7, 2017. The President has signed the law on ratification of the agreement with the Russian Federation on the procedure of stay of citizens of the two states on each other territory.

The document was adopted in St. Petersburg on June 19, 2016. It exempts citizens of both countries from obligatory registration (registration at the place of residence) in the competent authorities within 30 days.

The law was approved by the Parliament on November 24.
