Kyrgyz pilgrims perform final Hajj rites

Kyrgyz pilgrims perform the final Hajj rites. Spokesman for the Spiritual Administration of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan Maksat Atabaev told to 24.kg news agency.

According to him, the pilgrims are now in the valley of Mina. "Together with all the Muslims from other countries they throw stones at pillars-Jamarat, following the example of the great Prophet Ibrahim. These pillars are not Shaitan or his incarnation as some people mistakenly believe. This is a special rite of the Hajj, performing which the Muslims confirm that Satan is their explicit enemy that must be fought. And the essence of this struggle is the resistance to the passions, the obeyance of the Allah will and rejection of the forbidden," Maksat Atabaev explained.

He added that because of the heat the Ministry of Hajj of Saudi Arabia in the valley of Arafat provided our pilgrims with 24 tons of ice. The Ministry of Health Care of Kyrgyzstan has sent 8 doctors of narrow specialties and two sanitary doctors there. "They are working day and night. The first flight from Mecca to Bishkek is scheduled for September 17," Maksat Atabaev said.
