At least 23 educational facilities will be put into operation by September 1, 2014 in the country. It is reported by Department of Information Policy of the Kyrgyz President's Office.
According to the data, the President Almazbek Atambaev received today the Minister of Education and Science Kanat Sadykov. The official briefed on preparations for a new school year. In general there are 1,204 schools in the system of secondary education, covering more than 1 million students and 927 pre-school institutions, covering 132,500 children.
According to Kanat Sadykov, this year it is planned to complete construction of 56 objects of education, 23 of which will be put into operation by September 1.
The process of optimization of the system of higher education, aimed at improving the quality of educational processes, was discussed at the meeting as well. Almazbek Atambayev said that the main priorities of the reform should be the improvement of quality of education and eradication of corruption in the country's universities.
