Delegation from Kyrgyzstan participates in meeting of CSTO Council of Defense Ministers 

The delegation of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan headed by the Chief of the General Staff Asanbek Alymkozhoev participates in a joint meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, held in Moscow (Russia). This is reported by the Department of Information Support of the General Staff of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the information, the agenda includes the issues relating to crisis response system of CSTO, rendering assistance to Tajikistan to strengthen Tajik-Afghan border etc. Within the meeting a number of documents relating to air forces of the CSTO will be signed, changes in protocols on composition of troops of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the CSTO and the composition and deployment of national forces (troops) of the Collective Rapid Reaction Force of the Central Asian region of collective security, the Regulation on Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation of the CSTO.
