Surveillance camera installed on Victory Square in Bishkek

Surveillance camera with connection to Internet and direction control function was installed on Victory Square on the west side of the monument in Bishkek.

According to the press service of Bishkek Mayor's Office, the main purpose of it is "prevention of frequent cases of anti-social negative phenomena, respect to the rule of law on the territory of historical sacred place - the Eternal Flame on the part of citizens."

Surveillance camera was handed over to the balance of the Internal Affairs Department of Sverdlovsk district for further exploitation and control.

Recall, on November 29 a video about an act of vandalism committed by young people appeared on the Internet: they baked potatoes on the Eternal Flame, set on Victory Square.
