Mayor's Office is ready to allocate land under the apartment building for journalists, the press service of the municipality reported.

According to it, the mayor Albekov Ibraimov congratulated media representatives on the Day of Information and Press of the Kyrgyz Republic.

He invited journalists to join in a union and to start looking for investors, so that the media had a departmental apartment house.

The Day of Information and Press of the KR is set by government decree of November 1, 1993, at the day of publication of the first issue of the national newspaper "Erkin-Too" (now "Kyrgyz Tuusu") - November 7, 1924.
