Bishkek residents have chance to admire illustrations from Manas epic on bus stops (photos)

Bishkek residents will have a chance to admire the illustrations from Manas epic on the bus stops.

As Institute for Development of Youth NGO reported, young graphic designer Urmat Myrzabekov decorated the capital's bus stops with the copies of the works of Theodore Herzen. A feature of his drawings is a new interpretation - styled computer performance in color using "polygon" technique, adapted to the preferences of today's youth.

Now 81 pictures of the young artist decorate 14 capital's bus stops. They are situated on a part of Ankara Street (former Gorky street) - from Shabdan Baatyr (former Alma-Ata street) to Tunguch microdistrict. Everyone can go there and see the epic through art.

 The pictures show the key actions of the epic - from birth till return of the Kyrgyz people to their historic homeland.

The Institute for Youth Development explained that one of the important areas of its work is to develop a potential and empower young people. So when Urmat Myrzabekov had the idea to popularize epics, they together with the October district administration and UNFPA supported the initiative immediately.
