Oleg Pankratov becomes Chairman of the Board of Eurasian Economic Commission 

Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Pankratov was appointed Chairman of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in 2017.

It should be noted, the chairmanship over the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2017 was transferred to Kyrgyzstan. The decision to appoint Oleg Pankratov the Head of the EEC Council was announced today.

"The main task of Kyrgyzstan in the framework of the EEU bodies' presidency in 2017 is the deepening of economic integration and the removal of barriers in mutual trade between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union," Oleg Pankratov said. 

At the end of meeting, the EEC Council plans to make decisions in the field of integration, industry and agriculture, energy, customs cooperation, trade, information technology, information and communication technologies in the Eurasian Economic Union.
