Kazakhstan issues 10,000 banknote with image of Nursultan Nazarbayev (pictures)

Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Daniyar Akishev presented souvenir 10,000 banknote with the image of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev and a coin, dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence. Khabar 24 TV channel reported.

According to it, today the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation hosts conference of the National Bank of Kazakhstan "25 years of Kazakhstan's independence: the national currency."

The banknotes of 10,000 tenge will be put in circulation on December 1.

Kazakhstan marks the Day of the National Currency on November 15: tenge was put in circulation in the country on this day in 1993.
