Kyrgyz and Kazakh border guards detain 30 offenders in joint operation

Kyrgyz and Kazakh border guards have detained a violator of the state border, 16 violators of the border regime, 17 people with fake documents and arrested 30 wanted people during "Boordosh 2016" joint operation on May 11-22.  The Public Relations and Media Department of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.

In addition, the Kyrgyz border guards have seized five firearms and more than 50 weapons. The military men of the State Border Service Department for Chui region have found more than 7 kilograms of heroin, about 2 kilograms of marijuana, 2.5 tons of wild hemp and have confiscated smuggled goods worth more than $ 2,000.
