As of today, delivery of equipment for the second phase of equipping sanitary and quarantine posts within EEU is delayed. The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov said at a parliament session.
According to him, delivery of 49 percent of equipment for seven sanitary-quarantine posts is behind the schedule. There are delays in the receipt of laboratory equipment for the Department of Disease Prevention and the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision Department.
"Technical equipment of border control checkpoints on EEU customs border also causes extreme concern," Sooronbay Jeenbekov told.
Crocus International Company supplies equipment for customs offices of Kyrgyzstan according to EEU norms under the agreement with the Russian government on technical assistance to the Kyrgyz Republic in the process of accession of Kyrgyzstan to the Eurasian Economic Union.
Crocus International as a single supplier of equipment for customs posts will get $129 million out of $ 200 million technical assistance.
The owner of Crocus International is a Russian billionaire Aras Agalarov. This company was the general contractor in the construction of the Far Eastern Federal University on Russky Island, Primorsky Krai of Russia, where APEC summit was held in 2012. In 2014, the company received an order from the Russian government to build a stadium in Kaliningrad for the World Football Cup 2018.
