Products from Kyrgyzstan failed phytosanitary control in Novosibirsk region, Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia reported.
According to it, from September 13 to September 18 inspectors detained 500 kg of fresh plums and a ton of dried rose hips coming from Kyrgyzstan for sale in Kemerovo and Novosibirsk at Karasuk control post.
During the quarantine control, there was established that the products were transported without appropriate documents confirming its phytosanitary safety.
In accordance with the requirements of international law, the goods were returned to the senders.
