Kyrgyzstanis open Year of Yusuf Balasaguni in Istanbul (photo) 

Kyrgyzstanis opened the Year of Yusuf Balasaguni in Istanbul, announced by TURKSOY in the countries of Turkic world in 2016, a representative of the Kyrgyz Republic in this international organization Kozhogeldi Kuluev reported.

According to him, theater Ordo Sahna and the state folk dance group Ak-Maral performed in the folk-ethnographic part of the Year of Yusuf Balasaguni ceremony.  People's Artist of the KR Gulnur Satylganova, honored artist Bakyt Shatenov, singer Omurzak Kaiypov, komuz player Jyrgalbek Omurgazy uulu also performed at the event. The concert program was cut due to the tragic terrorist attacks that have taken place in recent days in Turkey.
