Experts to check soil for oil pollution in Dacha SU

Citizens are turning to the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic with the question what measures would be taken in Dacha SU village, where the soil is saturated with aviation kerosene.

According to the Deputy Minister of Health, Chief State Sanitary Doctor Oleg Gorin, the Ministry of Health recommended specially authorized bodies to clear the contaminated soil sites and cover it with fresh soil.

"Today and tomorrow, together with the State Agency of Environmental Protection the measurements of background radiation will be carried out and drinking water and soil will be taken for the laboratory tests," the Ministry of Health noted.

Note, earlier the Ministry of Emergency Situations assured: there is no jet fuel at the crash site.
