22 percent of respondents in Kyrgyzstan don’t trust doctors 

22 percent of respondents in Kyrgyzstan don't trust doctors. Such data were provided by the National Institute for Strategic Studies on the results of an opinion poll.

The survey was conducted from January 1 to 15, 2017 among young people (14 to 28 years). At least 1,082 people across Kyrgyzstan participated in it, it covered 40 districts of the republic.

According to the results, 14 percent of respondents often turn to doctors, 13 percent are treated at home, and 60 percent rarely seek the services of health professionals.

At the same time, 62 percent of young people use the services of doctors in clinics, 14 percent of them go to private clinics and 4 percent go to traditional practitioners.

The survey showed that 48 percent of young people trust doctors, 28 percent expressed an indefinite position, and 22 percent said they don't trust them.
