Carriers of the EEU countries will have right for one foreign cargo transportation on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) reported.

According to it, meeting of the board of EEC was held yesterday. The problems in the area of trade, customs cooperation, energy and infrastructure, the economy and fiscal policy were discussed. The joining of Kyrgyzstan  the program of liberalization of cabotage transportations by motor transport within the EEU was approved. It is planned that from January 1, 2016 transporters from Armenia, Belarus and Russia, ending trucking of freight from countries- non- members of the Eurasian Economic Union, on the way back to the state of registration will be eligible to perform a coasting trucking of freight on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

"It's about transportation in Talas, Chui and Issyk-Kul regions. Similar conditions apply to carriers registered in Kyrgyzstan. The program provides that from January 1, 2020 cabotage transportations in the same direction can be carried out in the territory of all regions of the EEU. From January 1, 2025 the number of such shipments will increase up to three," the EEC says.
