Kyrgyzstan tightens security on Kyrgyz-Tajik border

Divisions of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, serving on the Kyrgyz-Tajik part of the state border, were put on the combat alert due to tense situation in the Republic of Tajikistan. Kyrgyzstan drew additional border patrol units, increased its own security, the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Besides, border guards of two countries intensified exchange of operational information between the departments. Checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border carry out border control in the normal mode.
