Work of head of capital's traffic police recognized unsatisfactory

The work of the chief of Bishkek traffic police Zumrad Dzhanabaeva for 2015 was held unsatisfactory. The decision was made today at a regular session of the City Council after hearing the report.

Main Department of Internal Affairs instructed to ensure effective operation of the road patrol service and the service itself - to take measures to reduce the number of road accidents, to strengthen the control over passenger traffic rules and parking regulations, over implementation of traffic rules by all participants.

Deputy Ernis Dokenov noted that the report should be just taken into account. "I don't agree with the poor assessment. Then a decision against police chief should be taken. Today we found out that the traffic police alone won't change the situation in the city. Everyone should work. Our employees and executive bodies of local self-government are also guilty. We must be objective in this situation. Many people don't understand, what they voted for," he said.

Mayor of Bishkek Albek Ibraimov added that it is possible to hold the work of the service unsatisfactory, and as for Dzhanabaeva - "let the police management to make a decision."
