Import of 91 tons of goods from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan to Altai Krai banned

Four cases of violation of quarantine legislation were detected in import of more than 91 tons of quarantineable products from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan from October 21 to October 24 in Altai Krai of Russia. Rosselkhoznadzor website says.

Quarantine phytosanitary control found that 15.1 tons of grapes and 1.9 tons of pomegranates from Kyrgyzstan were imported with invalid phytosanitary certificates. In addition, absence of labeling on the packages of grapes (34 tons), dill (15 tons), parsley (5 tons) from Kazakhstan was detected.

Import of products was prohibited. Goods were returned to the country of departure.
